- Our aim is to provide an outstanding education for each and every one of them. My aim, in particular, is to lead a school where the students are able to flourish academically and socially and be part of a rich, vibrant and diverse community. We believe that education can transform lives and our school aims to inspire the children to be curious learners, who are confident to think creatively, underpinned by values of honesty, integrity and a sense of social justice. Our teachers know their students well and encourage each pupil to reach his/her full potential in achieving his/her aspirations. We want every student here to have the opportunity to learn about him/her as well as the world in order that he/ she may shape and develop the role that he/she would play in the future.
- We are a busy, caring and a supportive school which values praise, enjoyment, respect, and honesty in all we do. A rich programme of extracurricular provision provides chances for the students to develop outside the classroom learning as well, particularly the skills of confidence, teamwork, and leadership.
- Life at Harvest is a seamless journey for all the learners, and the experiences gained will have a lasting effect on them. We aim to develop young adults who leave the school with a secure sense of identity respect, tolerance and an unmatched understanding of difference and diversity. - I came across this amazing quote quite suddenly and realized how relevant it is for all of us: children, parents and teachers. There is never any point in the life of a person where he/she can sit back and say. “There is nothing more to learn, I can relax with the comforting thought that the universe around me is an open book. I know it all.”
- Education is not limited to just the subjects/topics that are learnt in school. It is a lifelong process that teaches one to think intensively and critically. Even the curriculum is no longer defined in terms of what a teacher will teach but rather it is set in terms of what a student will be able to demonstrate. Our goal is to bring in a change of mindset through education. It may sound idealistic, but this is precisely our mission. It is what motivates the work of everyone at Harvest — from faculty to staff, from students to alumni, and from parents to supporters. It inspires our teaching and our research. It fuels our work with teachers, principals, and leaders in education both here and across the globe.
- Providing ample educational opportunities is one of the most fundamental obligations each generation owes to the ones that follow and we at Harvest work together to inculcate the same.
